Yes. All online sessions are done through a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform. When we schedule online sessions, I'll send you a link to join at your appointment time.
-
Online therapy works similar to in-person therapy, except you can be comfy sitting in your office or home.
Many clients like online therapy because after session ends, they can take care of themselves without the need to drive home or back to the office.
-
I recommend weekly sessions at the same time each week because this allows for consistency and regular support for your healing and growth. If more support is needed, I can offer longer sessions or two sessions a week.
As we continue working together, we may move to meeting every other week.
-
Please visit my contact page or email me to set up a complimentary 20-minute consultation. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and for us to talk about the concerns that bring you to therapy, and whether I am the right fit for you. While on your consult, you can schedule your first session.

I don’t participate in any insurance networks, but your insurance plan may provide out-of-network coverage. Upon request, I can provide you with a monthly invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for payment at the time of your session.
Steps to check your out-of-network benefits.
-
Payment is due at the time of your session. Cash (in-person sessions only), credit/debit, HSA, and FSA cards. A valid credit/debit card on file is required - you’ll be able to set it up in your Client Portal.
-
The first session gives me the opportunity to get to know you and develop an idea of how to move forward.
I’ll learn more about what brings you to therapy, what issues you’ve been facing, and how you’ve been managing.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions about my practice, my training and how we’ll work together.
-
Once you book a session, I reserve that time specifically for you. I require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for and charged the full session fee.
-
An effective therapist is informed, available, and attuned.
I stay updated on evidence-based psychotherapy research, pursue advanced training, and receive ongoing consultation with EMDR and couples therapy experts.
I offer a limited number of spots in my practice to ensure that each client gets the attention and care they deserve.
-
Please do! Feel free to share my website, email or phone number with anyone who you think would benefit from working with me.

Good Faith Estimate is an estimate of how much therapy will cost.
Here is the official notice required under the federal No Surprises Act:
“You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.”
